Study in Italy: Self-Apply Guide

1. Choose Your Programme

Shortlist programmes based on your academic background, language, location, tuition and career goals.

2. Prepare Your Documents

  • Passport
  • Academic certificates and transcripts
  • CV
  • Motivation letter / SOP where required
  • Language proof where required
  • Recommendation letters where required
  • Any programme-specific documents

3. Apply to the University

Create the relevant university account, upload documents, pay any applicable fee and save your application reference.

4. Admission & Pre-Enrolment

After an offer, follow the university instructions and complete Universitaly pre-enrolment where applicable.

5. Visa Preparation

Prepare your visa file according to the current checklist of the competent Italian Embassy or Consulate and the relevant VFS process.
